As a Healer and Health Coach

I will set clear, suitable and culturally sensitive guidelines that govern any physical contact that I may have with my clients.  

I will create clear agreements with my clients and honour the client as the expert in their own life and work. 

I shall respect the rights, desires and needs of all clients at all times. 

I will coach/treat each client within the limits of my training and competence and in conformity to all local, municipal and federal laws and regulations concerning the services I offer. 

I will establish that, prior to or at the initial session, my client understands the nature of the service(s), the bounds of confidentiality, financial arrangements, and other terms of the professional/therapeutic relationship.  

I will respect the client’s right to terminate services at any point during the process.  

I will be attentive to signs that the client is no longer benefiting from our professional/therapeutic relationship.  If I believe the client would be better served by another resource, I will encourage the client to make a change. 

I shall make the physical and mental well-being of each client a prime consideration and shall not engage in verbal, physical or emotional abuse of any client.  

I will seek to avoid conflicts between my interests and the interests of my clients. 

As a professional Healer and Life Coach, I further accept and agree to honour my ethical obligations and hold myself to the highest ethical practices and morals to my clients and to the public at large. I pledge to comply with the MMS and CCF Codes of Ethics and to treat people with dignity. If I breach this Pledge of Ethics or any part of, I agree that MMS and CCF in its sole discretion may hold me accountable for so doing. I further agree that my accountability to the MMS and CCF for any breach may include loss of my MMS and CCF membership and/or my MMS and CCF credentials.
